The House of Burberry decided to really dive into technology and launch their new campaign in a unique and intriguing way-via Snapchat! The collection features models such as Hayett Belarbi McCarthy, Eliza Fairbanks, Liam Gardner, Misha Hart, May Bell, Louie Johnson and Ruth Bell. The brand, with the help of famed photographer Mario Testino has become the first ever to shoot and post a campaign live via Snapchat The shoot images were available to view on the account for just 24 hours, before disappearing.
Christopher Bailey said: ‘We wanted to play with the traditional format of an advertising campaign to make it much more immediate and accessible just as we did with our runway show last month. Creatively this is incredibly exciting as we are totally focused on capturing the energy and the rawness of the shoot and sharing it the moment it happens.’
Mario Testino added: ‘I am so excited to be a part of this industry first with Christopher and Burberry.
