Ok Marx was right, religion still embodies  a great influence among every and all societies worldwide. In Europe, where artistic freedom is a constitutional right, there is an underground connection of religious imagery/view with fashion avant-garde, a heritage from the dada members and their provocative works in all fields, such as Bunuel’s cinema and others. Using religious images for fashion purposes lays in two different categories: some designers use faith in their work for its symbolic connotation, while though the majority use it for its aesthetic appeal. Here we present fashuin images inspired by religion while at the same time, trying to communicate the photographer’s view on the subject.Successful or not,i am not to judge them, you are.
